The Silver Sands Beach & Racquet Club is comprised by four Condominium Associations. There are three Building Associations buildings A, B and C – each of them has 100 units and a separate Board of Directors which is responsible for managing the affairs of each building. Building A was completed in 1981; Building B was finished in 1985; and Building C was completed in 1991. The 100 owners of each building separately elect their own Board of Directors. In addition, there is the Master Association which is responsible for managing the common elements outside of the three buildings including the Clubhouse, tennis courts, swimming pools and spas, driveways and parking lots and the grounds and landscaping. The Master Association has a nine member Board of Directors. The Buildings A, B and C Associations, each elect three directors to the Master Board. Each of the four Silver Sands Boards elects a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
The four Silver Sands Boards have jointly agreed that management services are most effectively and efficiently provided to the overall Silver Sands Community by authorizing the Master Association Board to directly hire the Association Manager and the employees to provide management services to the entire Silver Sands complex. The Association Manager is solely responsible for the hiring, training, making work assignments, setting work hours, supervising, evaluating, disciplining and terminating employees as may be required. The Association Manager is responsible to each Building President (or VP or designee) for the overall management services provided to the respective Buildings. The Association Manager is responsible to the President of the Master Association for management services performed for the common elements outside of the three buildings as described above.
Silver Sands owners have high expectations for the quality of life at Silver Sands and it is important for our Team to provide A+ services for all owners, their families and guests. Our employment at Silver Sands is the direct result of the condominium fees paid by the owners and our goal is to provide a well-maintained, beautiful, safe environment for all owners, their families and guests who must at all times be treated with respect, dignity and civility.
